The Outlaw Tournament exists to showcase the highest caliber of competitive senior hockey while fostering the spirit of community, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our mission is to unite athletes. families. and fans from across the province in a celebration of skill, dedication, and passion for the game - all while supporting local growth and building lasting connections within our communities.
How Teams Qualify for the Outlaw Tournament (2025–26)
The 1st Annual Outlaw Championship will feature 8 teams and takes place in April 2026. Teams qualify through a mix of automatic bids (earned by divisional performance) and wild card spots (earned through championships or points).
Automatic Bids (6 total)
Capital Branch (4 bids)
2× Regular Season Eastern Divisional Winners
2× Regular Season Western Divisional Winners
Metropolitan Branch (2 bids)
1× Regular Season Northern Divisional Winner
1× Regular Season Southern Divisional Winner
Wild Card Bids (2 total)
Two wild cards are reserved for Capital or Metropolitan League Champions who did not already qualify through regular season divisional wins.
If a league champion has already qualified, the wild card spot(s) go to the highest regular-season point totals across either branch. Yes, both wild cards can come from the same branch if the points demand it.
