NPHL Announces 2025–26 Regular Season Award Winners Across Metro and Capital Branches

The Northern Premier Hockey League (NPHL) is proud to officially announce the 2025–26 regular season award winners across both the Metro and Capital branches.

Following a highly competitive regular season across the league, these individuals have distinguished themselves through elite performance, leadership, and consistent impact both on and off the ice.


Metro Branch Award Winners

Top Point Scorer
James McEwan – Alvinston Killer Bees
McEwan led the Metro division in scoring, driving offensive production and proving to be one of the league’s most dangerous playmakers.

Top Forward
James McEwan – Alvinston Killer Bees
In addition to his scoring title, McEwan’s all-around offensive dominance earned him recognition as the top forward in the division.

Top Defenseman
Mitch Randell – Woodstock Lakers
Randall anchored the blue line with consistency and poise, contributing in all situations while continuing to be an offensive threat.

Top Goaltender
Evan Debrouwer – Strathroy Jets
Debrouwer delivered a season of composure and reliability, providing elite goaltending performances throughout the year.

Executive of the Year
Darell Anderson – Six Nations Ironmen
Anderson’s leadership and organizational vision played a key role in the Ironmen’s success this season.

Coach of the Year
Ryan Davis – Six Nations Ironmen
Davis demonstrated exceptional leadership behind the bench, building a structured and competitive team environment.


Capital Branch Award Winners

Top Point Scorer
Tate Leeson – Smiths Falls Rideaus
Leeson’s offensive consistency and ability to produce in key moments earned him the scoring title in the Capital Branch.

Top Forward
Jared Steege – Madawaska Valley Wolves
Steege’s speed and finishing ability made him one of the most impactful forwards across the division.

Top Defenseman
Jake Cardwell – Manotick Mariners
Cardwell’s strong defensive presence and smart puck movement established him as a cornerstone on the blue line.

Top Goaltender
Berk Berkeliev – Manotick Mariners
Berkeliev’s steady play and clutch performances made him a critical piece of the Mariners’ success.

Executive of the Year
David Prance – Tweed Oil Kings
Prance’s leadership off the ice helped position the Oil Kings for a strong and competitive season.

Coach of the Year
Brandon Tucker – Deseronto Bulldogs
Tucker’s ability to lead, develop, and organize his team earned him top coaching honours in the Capital branch.
