For the Stratford Irish, the name is more than a title, it’s a statement of vision and values. The City of Stratford is built on community, hard work, and pride. That same foundation is what fuels the Irish organization every day. The Stratford Irish are tremendously proud to be joining the Northern Premier Hockey League (NPHL) for the 2025–26 season. Senior hockey has long held a meaningful place in this city, from the Champion Stratford Indians to the Stratford Perths and that legacy continues with today’s team. 

Carrying forward the spirit of champions and the pride of Stratford, the Irish look to blend modern competition with historic roots, bringing a new level of excitement and community engagement to local hockey. “It’s about enriching our city, giving our fans something to be proud of, and continuing a story that’s been part of Stratford for generations.”
